Come and Sing your favourite hymns on Shrove Tuesday 17th February – in church at 3.00 pm. Please let Alison know your three favourite hymns, either in writing or by phone 07763 464305 or alisonhunka1885@aol.com We shall sing the most popular hymns chosen (with a break for refreshments), and will hear background information on their writers and composers. You may nominate hymns even if you aren’t able to be present on the afternoon.

Ash Wednesday follows – 18th February. There will be a service of Holy Communion at 12.00 noon. If you still have last year’s palm cross, please bring it to church so that it can be burned with others to make ash for imposition at the service on Ash Wednesday. Thank you.
World Day of Prayer – Friday 6th March. This year’s theme is prepared by Christian women from Nigeria – ‘I will give you rest; come!” Services at Lansdown Methodist Church at 2.00 pm and 7.00 pm. A cash collection will be taken. Pauline Cross is the Chairperson of the Malvern WDP committee, and would be pleased to give you more information, and to have your support on the day.
On Sunday 22nd March, at Little Malvern Priory, there will be a rendering of the Passion Cantata ‘Sacrifice Triumphant’, music by Basil Harwood (1859-1949). The music is interspersed with readings from the bible and congregational hymns. This act of worship will be a fitting way of marking our entry into Passiontide and Holy Week.
