    Our ‘Away Giving’ collection for the month of June is for the work of the Malvern Christians Against Poverty group. Nationally CAP is staffed and financed by churches, to give advice, support and assistance to people in their communities who have run into debt or are struggling financially. Denis and Roger from the group spoke at church recently, telling something of the great difference CAP’s work has made to many people locally.

    Gardens visit: The Flower Arrangers are to visit Overbury Court and Whitcombe House gardens in the Cotswolds, on Thursday 25th June, and have places available. The cost is £15 per person to include both gardens, tea and cake. More information to be found on the noticeboard in the narthex. Please sign the list there if you would like to come. First come, first served!

    Thanks to those who supported the Dowland’s Delight recital in the church last week. A retiring collection of £297 was taken for church funds.

    Congratulations to the organisers and supporters of the Save the Children coffee morning earlier in the month, which raised an impressive £1,700.

    Celebration of 150 Years at Christ Church, Avenue Road, Malvern on Saturday 27th June, 10.30 am to 2.30 pm. Live music; Victorian dress; stalls and refreshments. All welcome.
