Based on the Embrace the Middle East Resource, Healing & Hope in the One Household of God, each Sunday is a separate event – it does not require previous knowledge – only a Bible to look and follow the scripture references. It will also be a time of reflective prayer.

Churches Together in Malvern are hosting a Pancake Party at the Lyttelton Well Café on Monday 12th February. Drop in anytime between 6 pm and 8 pm. No charge — voluntary contribution welcome.

Shrove Tu(ne)sday, 13th February. As reported in the Newsletter, there will be a ‘Come and Sing your favourite hymns’ in church at 3.00 pm on Shrove Tuesday. Please let Alison Hunka know your favourite three hymns before the end of January. We shall sing the top 15 hymns chosen (with a break for refreshments), and will hear background information on their writers and composers.

Ash Wednesday follows — 14th February. There will be a service of Holy Communion at 12.00 noon. If you still have last year’s palm cross, please bring it to church next Sunday so that it can be burned with others to make ash for imposition at the service on Ash Wednesday. Thank you.
