We shall keep Harvest Thanksgiving on Sunday 4th October with Family Communion at 11.00 am, followed by Harvest Lunch at Welland Village Hall. Please sign the list in the narthex if you would like to come. The cost of the lunch is £8 per head, and £5 of this will go to our October charity Mary’s Meals – a non-profit organization providing life-changing meals to some of the world’s poorest children. Mr. Paul Serrell-Cooke will be coming to the 11.00 service on Sunday 27th September to tell us about the charity.

Concert on Saturday October 3rd at Christ Church, Avenue Rd, 7.30 pm. The 875 Singers who were formed to sing Handel’s Messiah at the end of our celebratory 875 year, are performing a programme of music by Vivaldi and Mendelssohn. It includes Vivaldi’s Gloria and ‘O for the Wings of a Dove’ by Mendelssohn. With instrumentalists from the Birmingham Conservatoire there will be Vivaldi concertos for trumpet and bassoon. Tickets, £17.50 are available from Malvern Theatres. The concert is part of the Autumn in Malvern Festival.
