    Sunday 25th January at 4:00pm: Unity Service at Holy Trinity Church, at the end of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, when the preacher will be Reverend Liz Harris, Superintendent Minister of the South Worcestershire Methodist Circuit. There will be a “pop-up/scratch” choir open to all, with a practice in the afternoon at 3 pm.     During this Week of Prayer – One Body, One Spirit’there are opportunities for prayer with other local Christians, and a short Zoom prayer meeting on Tuesday evening, 20th, at 7.30 pm, meeting ID 734 5223 5063, passcode 6TB97h.

    The collection taken in church for the Maggs Day Centre in Malvern over the Christmas period yielded £623. Thanks to all who contributed so generously. An amount of £200 has also been sent to The Children’s Society following the Christingle and Crib Service on Christmas Eve.

    Come and Sing! Shake off the winter gloom and take part in The Mikado – Saturday 7th February at St. James’, Church, Welland. £10 to sing; £10 to listen! Chorus rehearsal 5.30 pm; Refreshments 6.30 pm (drinks provided – bring your own snack); Performance 7.30 pm.

    Come and Sing your favourite hymns on Shrove Tuesday 17th February – in church at 3.00 pm. Please let Alison know your three favourite hymns before the end of January, either in writing or by phone 07763 464305 or alisonhunka1885@aol.com  We shall sing the most popular hymns chosen (with a break for refreshments), and will hear background information on their writers and composers.

    Ash Wednesday follows – 18th February. There will be a service of Holy Communion at 12.00 noon. If you still have last year’s palm cross, please bring it to church so that it can be burned with others to make ash for imposition at the service on Ash Wednesday. Thank you.
