Thanks to all who helped in any way to make the Christmas period such an uplifting one at Little Malvern Priory – flower arrangers, organists and singers, lesson readers, sidespeople, refreshment providers, and Alison our churchwarden. Many appreciative comments have been received!
The collection taken in church for the Maggs Day Centre in Malvern over the Christmas period yielded £623. Thanks to all who contributed so generously. An amount of £200 has also been sent to The Children’s Society following the Christingle and Crib Service on Christmas Eve.
Celebration of the Diocese and Service of Welcome for Bishop Hugh Nelson, 114th Bishop of Worcester on Saturday 17th January at 2 pm in the Cathedral. All are very welcome to attend.
Sunday 25th January at 4:00pm: Unity Service at Holy Trinity Church, at the end of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, when the preacher will be Reverend Liz Harris, Superintendent Minister of the South Worcestershire Methodist Circuit. There will be a “pop-up/scratch” choir open to all, with a practice in the afternoon at 3 pm.
Come and take part in The Mikado – Saturday 7th February at St. James’, Church, Welland. £10 to sing; £10 to listen! Chorus rehearsal 5.30 pm; Refreshments 6.30 pm (drinks provided – bring your own snack); Performance 7.30 pm.
